I like all my chrome - it makes my truck go faster  Looks like yours has its middle underneath painted black? Where did you get it?

Then it will be like 25 feet long, as if parking it isn't fun enough already. Of course I can just push others out of the way to make more parking space

I plastidipped it. I figured it would look better like that than it would looking polished and brushed stainless steel. It goes better with my blacked out GMC emblems. I may take the skid plate off and put on a truck bed liner spray from Home Depot. Not sure though.

And I got it from carid.com. It's the Westin bad.

Probably could've saved a few bucks if I had ordered from ebay

It's the Westin bar from carid.com

Yes it does have provisions to mount lights. But I won't use them [emoji23] I'm gonna put a 24" bar and that won't line up with the holes. It will be too wide for them.

cool. I'm thinking about adding one. Not sure I'll do an LED bar. I have a set of PIAA 525's that I'll put on it. I know LED is all the rage, but those PIAA's put out some serious light.

Do it! I haven't even had the bar on for 24 hours and I've already gotten plenty of compliments on it! It changes the look of the truck completely.

Hey Mike,
do you still have access to your tow hooks?

Installed my Weathertech rear splash guards and bed bulkhead protector.

Also, pulled the engine fuses to force a driveability/fuel trim relearn.

I meant are they still useable on the truck with the bull guard, but obviously if they are in your garage, they have to come off for the bar.
thanks

Oh no. They are not useable. The bull bar replaces the hooks and are mounted the same way that the hooks are. Even if they were still mounted, they would be blocked by the bar.

At the tire shop getting it aligned since today I added a 2in RC leveling kit and took off the chrome steps since they got sold. Going tomorrow to order my Ranch Hand Steps and pick up the vent visors and dealer mud flaps.

I wonder if there are any other solutions that allow for both the bull bar and the tow hooks?
