were there any lines or anything underneath it?

I think i remember one guy saying that there were positioning lines under his molding when he removed it.

Not at all....just good ol' factory clear coated paint.

Looks great. What did it take to remove them and clean it up?

I just installed the AVS aeroskin bug guard and did a LED headlight swap. I'll post pics in a couple days when I get back home. The led's were a simple plug and play install. I have a check engine light on but it may have been from having the air intake sensor unplugged. I'll have to disconnect the battery and see if that clears it. If not, I may need error cancellors But the colors match my drl's and led fogs perfect. Picked up the kit from my local performance shop for $109.
