Finally got 'round to installing my MY14 tow mirrors (i.e. manual extending, heated, w/ turn signals) on my '14 Sierra SLE. Driver's side is completely done, including door harness swap. Too thrilled to see the turn signals work on first try. Ran out of daylight or else I'd have finished the passenger side...pity getting the door panel weatherstripping back on is a bit of a PITA...

What did you use? Looks awesome!

got them done at a body shop haha. I was going to do them myself but figured I'd bite the bullet and have them done professionally so they would hold up better overtime

You have to cut a hole in the exhaust pipes and just weld it in. Not hard if you have the tools and know how I suppose. But I don't have the tools, nor have I ever welded, so I can't give you a true "this is how hard it is" opinion. I had the muffler shop I got it at install it. Took them about an hour to an hour and 15 mins from the time i handed them the keys to the time I got w call saying it was ready.

Install and cut out ran me $325 ($355.xx after tax) and that's with me running the wires. I told them I'd rather do that part myself so that I can have it exactly how I want it (also saved me $75 + tax)

I'll get you the model and brand in the AM. The shop stopped selling cut outs for a while cause the last brand they sold kept having issues but they found this one and have been selling them for around 2-2.5 years now and no one has come in with a single issue yet

Here is the brand you have for anyone wondering
