Added wire loon to all my wires including the dual battery wire. The shiny DDM wire loon is now covered with OEM style loon, everything looks like factory now.

just how easy is it to debadge the truck? Ive been watching video after video on youtube about it and its pretty straight forward, but some videos have talked about buffing and what not afterwards, is that true?

I plan on debadging, plasti dipping, and installing driver assist handle tomorrow after work

OH!! not the silverado and LT badge, but whats the best way to get the Z71 decal off the side of the truck?

The buffing was just to get all of the residue off. The Z71 decals on mine was easy to come off. I just picked at it with my fingernail and it came off and didn't leave any residue. I took them off to replace them with the Z71 door emblems you see on the Custom Sports. I thought about completely debadging this truck, but I like the look of the chrome badges on a black truck.

So did you have to heat the Z71 decal at all before you picked at it? I'll pick up a buffing thing I guess just to be sure, and if all else fails Im sure I could use it at some point over the years.

I havent made up my mind if i want to take over the tailgate badges and leave the sides, or take off the sides and leave the tailgate ... or just get rid of it all

Nope, I did wait until later in the evening so they were in the sun all day, not sure if that helped any. This was almost a year after getting the truck so they weren't brand new. Once I got it started it wasn't bad taking off. 1 came off in 1 piece, the other came off in 2 or 3. I had plastic blades just in case, but didn't need them. Also they didn't seem to leave and kind of residue. The emblems will probably leave a little residue or even parts of the backing. You may get lucky and maybe they won't. Being still fairly new all you might need to do is rubbing with a microfobre until it all comes off.

Set the front at 9" and added a leaf to the rear. I like the look but Now I feel like I need 37s ?

So far today, I've driven it 110 miles and dropped it off for a Line-X bed liner. Now, I wait 4 or 5 hours at a nearby mall and try to kill time on the Internet.

They must have had a truck or two ahead of you already cause I dropped mine off and waited 2 hours in their wait room and it was ready

Needs 37s! And is that a 40" behind the grille?

I opted for the Premium and it apparently takes longer than the standard.

Yeah, we'll see how the next few paychecks go, tough dropping the cash on 37's when these only have 5k miles on them. It's a 42" bar.
