What have you done to your K2 today?

It's only adhesive. Either use a heat gun and your thumbs to rub it off, or use an eraser wheel on a drill. I've done it both ways and the eraser wheel is a lot faster. It'll make a mess, but works great.

I've done it and sometimes use it when I have to remove large amounts of adhesive tape. That way it won't stick back onto the body.

Hey I would like to debadge my truck too! I hate attempting to clean around the "silverado" badging and see how dirty it is in the letter that I can't get too. But I have a black 2014 with 45000 miles, if i debadge will there be paint wear around the badging making an old outline? any tips for black?

If you use a quality polishing compound and some elbow grease you can remove 95-99% of the hazing. I recommend Chemical Guys products.

Being a 2014 though, I'm not sure if you would have any fading. You can't tell until you do it. I use an APC and a detailing brush to clean around the emblems. It's a pain to clean the Silverado letters. Drying towel always catches it too.

Always heard this but removed badges and molding from 10 year old cars and have yet to have an issue with fading.

I got my Borla GMPP sport muffler and tip welded on today. It's still really quiet. Not sure if it'll break in and get a little louder or if I'll have to remove the resonator. I'll get some vids later today. Supposed to be in the mid 90's, so I'm hanging out in the AC for now.

Nothing at Home Depot. I use an all purpose cleaner from the dollar store. LA's totally famous. It's $1 a bottle. I used Adams apc before, but it's so damn expensive. You can get a small detailing brush at your local Autozone or similar store. For the removal and using an eraser wheel, you can get one at a local auto body store or online. They work great. The 3m one is pricey, so I opted for an off brand one. Works just as good and you use your drill on a low speed with it.
