Ordered my wheels and tires...tuck should be back from the shop next week finally! Wheels take a couple more weeks to cut.

Opinions please...while my truck is getting repaired, I'm having the shop splash some paint on for me...trying to decide:

  1. White painted rear bumper and tailgate handle and factory black plastic bumper cap and steps
  2. Factory chrome bumper and white painted tailgate handle, plastic bumper cap and steps

I have a white painted front bumper with quad white LED fogs with white housings, factory chrome honeycomb grille, chrome lower skid plate and chrome tow hooks with billet emblem and cleared LT headlights, so my front end is a morph of the two front ends here. I'm not sure if weird to have a painted bumper on the front and not on the back but with the chrome valence it might look OK with white on top of chrome both front and back...othewise its more of the High Country / Denali look.

Did you keep the factory air filter and box? It appears that you did. If so did it change the sound of the motor? I'm considering this as a future mod and hoping it will make the truck growl a little more....

Yeah, what he said ^^ but ultimately it's up to you. You drive it and pay for it... we just sit back and admire it. :)

Quality looks great. I'm not a fan of the form factor though, my Street Guardian tucks up nicely behind my rear view mirror and you really can't even tell its there. So stealth I've had multiple people drive my car and not even realize it has a dash cam. Real nice when you have idiot technicians at the dealer take your car out for a joy ride.

Will post install pics tomorrow

I have to either hardwire mine so it turns on with the ignition. Or alter my cig lighter so IT turn off when the truck is off. If I leave it plugged in, the cam stays on the whole time I'm gone.

Installed my new 50 cal antenna... no loss of signal either and it looks great. Don't mind the dirt, weather here in TX has been crap. Trucks getting washed this weekend. 46929e8a348135d062171b47a8f9de16.jpgee9f72c9645b73c6a2d6034b5dc3f040.jpg

Looks cool, where, and how much? My luck, someone would steal it, or worse, screw my truck up trying to steal it...

I did keep the Factory box. I do plan to drop in a better filter in the future. It might have a little more growl than the stock tube but not a whole lot.

mostly when you kick it hard. I'm happy with it, just Haven't drove it a whole lot since I installed it.

Gave her a bath and installed my Jam Handles today on both the front driver and passenger door. This is an awesome product and a must for black vehicles! No more finger prints on my paint!

So the 3 hole is enough to get a good grip to close them. The site recommends 4 hole for larger vehicles and trucks.

Thanks in advance.
