Finally done. Ignore the dirty truck though. Next step is to run all the wiring.

Your box came out looking great! What are you planning on running for your amp/headunit setup?

Did you build the box yourself?

I built it myself. Should be around 1.1 - 1.3CF. I have some progress pics back a few pages over the last week or so.

I just have a smaller P3001 RF amp and a LC2i that I will wire in. I'm just using the stock radio with a quality line out converter. 300w RMS at 2 ohms should be plenty. I didn't want anything crazy loud, and the Kicker system is only 200w @ that 1k price tag.......

All the prefab boxes are small and are like .7cf. I wanted something that will sound a lot better than my last set up. 2 12's in an underseat box, but it was smaller and sealed.

Finally got my Cognitos and Kings put on the front end - I'm been in the process of moving interstate so my tools are finally all in the same place and I could get this done.

Apologies for the lack of a full truck finished pic - I had to finish up the passenger side in the dark.

The driver's side took several hours, primarily because I couldn't get the spindle to bust loose with the tried and true hammer technique (I beat the hell out of it for 45 min) so I had to run out and get a pickle fork. And it took me beating the piss out of the pickle fork, demolishing the grease boot, and jacking the LCA up and down several times to get it to bust loose!! I've never had one this difficult, and the truck only has 10k on it so it should be relatively un-seized. The passenger side was only marginally better - maybe it's something to do with the cast steel UCAs?

The passenger side was done in about 90 minutes, including having to drag out lights and move them around constantly.

Now to do the rears and put some new shoes on her.

Added note: for anyone who is putting Cognitos on themselves, watch out for the logo plate when installing the strut - it's a sharp unfinished edge and can easily slice the hell out of you [emoji51]

The wheels are working fine right now, but I'm planning on replacing them with 18's when I get new tires. You can easily tell why folks have issues running wider tires on the stock wheels - check this super crappy picture. And it's not even at absolute full lock, only where the wheel will stay by itself - it was dark, I was greasy, and I didn't have a strap readily available to keep the wheel cranked.

Added some bowtie center caps to the wheels.

The rings have tabs on the back that they can be just push and they'll come off really easy.. the hardest was the 2 big rings, the bottom tabs are really close to the clear plastic curvature. I did push clear plastic a bit to take the tabs without breaking them. Def take your time to do it.

How do you get the clear plastic out? Lol do i have to pull the whole trim....
