I fabbed this mount. It’s black acrylic with an aluminum strap and stainless hardware. It just mounts around a leg in the grille.

@HCSilvey  , where in Cali you at?  I do miss it there.

I’m in Palm Springs. But my company is about to relocate me to Pennsylvania. That’s going to be a climate shock Lol.

Anyone have a preferred non “dynamat” brand sound deadened? I’ve used Raamat in the past but the website sucks and the owner turned douche when I tried to order for my 1500.

He happens to be a personal friend and if you let me know what's wrong with the website as well as what trouble you had ordering by phone I'll let him know (he has someone else taking orders these days)

Made 2 unintentional "mods" in one day...While backing into a space at the store I looked down for a split second when i heard the ding for a text, missed the curb stop and hit the wall. Slight bend to the rear bumper and a little scrape to the plastic but not too bad (text was from Nasty on the forum here so I'm  blaming him! :P)

Next I was in the drive through at BK but changed my mind so I backed up. Didn't quite back up far enough and when I turned where I thought was the end of the lane the left front went over a higher than typical curb and she's pulling to the right now. Since I have to get it aligned anyway  this may be the motivation I needed to finish the lowering  now so I don't have to align it twice.

Go to his website. You can choose a small car to a large van. It tells you 1-19 sheets of BXT and a sheet of ensolite. If you go to the vehicle specific section.. well it tells you 1-19 sheets of BXT and a sheet of ensolite. Well which is it? I don’t want to guess, tell me how much for my truck. I know I’ll need more for my truck than my little car.

He used to be a preferred provider for the Subaru community and they dispersed (because they have to be catered to as a community) to other providers, largely because if I buy this stuff I want to have an idea what’s needed for the job.

You (as the vendor) should have an idea of the sq ft requirement for most of these jobs and it can be parsed out to the trunk and cabin of a car or by std cab vs crew cab.

I’m all about supporting a small company, and he used to be out of a small town in Utah which is a bonus for me. But I’m not going to go out of my way to guess the whole way through his website.

I measure the areas of the vehicle I'm doing and calculate how much I'll need myself so I never noticed that on the website but I'll give him a call to let him know (the product now comes out of Southern California)
