Pulled off my traction bars to add a little style and repaint them.

Well ran out of time to clean it but it looks it in the pics. The amp steps tuck up well even with the body lift. I went with Kryptonite uppers didn't want to wait on the McGaughys I also made some aluminum plates for the cross member to add some bling lol. Totally pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of the McGaughys.32a85f68749897bc2b213fbe237a06bd.jpgc6e9888138624d43eb22038677363401.jpg4dc53561c5cef5093a6ad17073e23b6c.jpg18c4aa95137dc9996d5b3ff987470ea8.jpg38f471ecd66ed643cb8114f855b4343d.jpg7bf7e9825542c8b1e90110d4f29f8d40.jpg

Didn't you have a Rough Country 5" Bracket lift on this truck? Just curious what was involved to install the McGaughy kit.

I have the CST 4 1/2" bracket kit and due to the cutting of the upper control arm pockets I figured I was stuck with what I have.

Pretty sure the Rough Country kit install is similar to the CST and you would of had to make the same modifications.

I did have the 5" RC bracket lift and I had no complaints at all just wanted to go much larger. As far as differences I had to put the steering rack back in the factory location also had to cut 3 1/2 inches off passenger side (just like the driver's side). As far as the upper control arm pockets I just left them out could have welded them back in but I didn't. The McGaughys instructions say not to remove the bump stops in the uca but I don't off road so figured I would be ok.

Thanks for that information. I have considered just adjusting my CST coil overs to get another 1" - 1 1/2" so I can run 35" tires. But it is nice to know it's possible to convert to another lift entirely. I'm running a 10x22 -25  with 33's and I can't see clearing a 35" where it sits now.

No problem glad I could help. I'm running a 22x12 -51 and 35s in total with lift and body lift I'm at 10.5 inches and it barely clears the front valance but clears fine on finder well. With the RC I had a 2 inch level also and needed the bl to clear the 35s.

Do you remember what brand grill you had on your blue 2015 Chey Silverado. I removed the orange reflectors off of mine but the grille I was trying to purchase from Ablaze grilles was discontinued. It looked just like the one on your truck.

Are you referring to the bullet inserts?

Yes, the inserts on the 2014 Chevy truck which is the best looking grill I've seen.

I have the lights I just need the inserts to complete my front end and have it close to the way you had that awesome blue truck you once had.

I took a picture of it. Haven't taken many pictures since I did the body lift and 38's.
