What have you done to your K2 today?

Recommended Posts

Raptor lined my oem side steps... They get the job done, so I wanted to restore then a little.  UV and chipped paint were the issues before hand.

Just because I was down there... I out some fluid film on some parts.  I try to hit spots over time rather than do the who truck...  So I clean and then film.

Update on my Denali cluster and tow cameras ...

Does the camera stay on when you're stopped and the blinker is activated?

My camera setup can trigger it by speed as well, so when I'm at a stop and my blinkers are on, they go back to normal view and once I start moving again, the video feed comes back on. My front camera can also get triggered by speed(when you slow down to a certain speed 5/mph??) to come on as well, basically good for parking close to something(like my garage wall :) ) .

I like that default OEM option, I like the Left/Right and Left/Right/Trailer option it has, mine don't have those.. :(.

The view from the tow mirrors only shows when I have activated the option and anytime the turn signal is on.
The front cam has to activated manually through a press and hold of the "back" button on the infotainment screen and, then selecting the front cam option.
The multi-screen view is great for trailering.

Very cool!!!

Was that a Panther walking behind your truck at the 1:45 minute mark? Big cat!

Just your typical house panther. I have three and a house tiger, as well. :D

Put led lights in the cargo and 3rd break light.  I put led in the reverse lights too.

Installed a 32" LED light bar behind the grille and wired up a couple switches. The rock light switch has nothing to power on yet though. ba4cec086ac3972fb993cf4414719df8.jpg

Did you use the for light bracket from Rigid?

How much of the plastic bucket did you cut out?

So did I, in November 2018, couple months after I got my new truck.  I put BRIGHT whites in Cargo and Reverse, and BRIGHT RED in the Brake light.

Early birthday present.  THANKS @OEDRO!!!!!

Had to take my CB antenna off, for now, mount bracket screws lost their threads about halfway along the shank. 🤬 It’s only removed until I find my mount bracket that I had on my previous truck.

Also added one of the GM-Trucks stickers that I received in the mail today.

Twice a year washing the truck is pointless. Fall when crops are harvested and spring when they are planted. Won't stay clean five minutes. Well planting is winding down so Pepper got a much needed bath. She still looks good 😉
