Why is there no 4x4 dash indicator light ??

It is silly that GM couldn't add a dash display on all trucks for 4WD engaged.

I've never had a 4wd light in the cluster of anything I've ever owned, nor have I ever felt the need to have one. If I felt i did, I wouldn't have owned the vehicle.

I bet some people complain when their ice cream is too cold.

I've got the offroad screen on my 2016 SLT, without the All Terrain package. The screen was not enable when I got the truck.

My '15 Sierra SLT has that screen. It was enabled when I got the truck.

I have it on my SLT Z71. You do have to turn it on in the menu.

So it's only on the All Terrains?

I should be available on the uplevel DIC even without all terrain.

Mine has it - not all terrain, and not z71.

Non all terrain 2015 slt had it as well.

My 2015 doesn't seem to have this screen option. Is that possible or ami missing it some where z71 with buckets if that matters

All knobs have the light.

I didn't know about the screen thing ill have to try it on my Z71.

My work truck has the indicator but i also have a manual transfer case like back in the day

Well that blows. My 2014 silverado Z71 doesnt have it.... It looks super cool tho

Go to your off road page. It will show front axels lit up green along with the back ones.

You may have to turn this screen on. It's in the settings. Use the steering controls to access the settings and turn it on. It will display 2WD/AUTO/4Hi/4Lo. If I am driving in inclimate weather, you can just put that screen on.

But I know whether I am in auto or 2wd simply by the feeling of the Transfer Case turning under foot.

Correct. I was messing around in th info setting, it allows you to select what you want shown. Off road was not checked off. I turned it on
