Sierra Painted Fender / Wheel Arch Moldings

They look good painted. When I bought mine in oct. Gmc didn't have painted fender moldings so I got a chevy instead. I didn't want a $50,000 with black plastic fender moldings that fade over time not to mention it's a pain to wax around. I'm glad they are offering them painted now.

 

Couldn't agree more. I would rather have the GMC but the wheel arches had me looking at the Chevy every time. It says it's a dealer installed option so might be able to work it into the deal under cost.

I just had the painted to match wheel well moldings instlled yesterday on my sonoma red Denali. They do look shit hot! They cost me $550 plus $100 for installation. I do have pics but big hassle for me to post. Anyone interested send me a Pm with your email and I'll send you some before and after pics. You are welcome to post them if you desire. I have $7000 in mods and that is the best one so far, next to my XPEL clear bra.

Just get them wrapped, I was quoted $50 per molding from the installer that does all the ford dealers around this area.

truck looks great corvetteoj, I never really minded the non body color ones, but now that I see painted ones, it looks way better.

FYI - the Summit White wheel moldings do not match the factory paint 100% (I'm guessing b/c of differences in painting processes b/w plastic and metal?).

 

My old GMT-900 had the same slight differences between Summit White paint and the plastic doors moldings. It got worse over a couple of years, so I shaved them.

Do these fit over the black factory plastic ones or do you remove the factory ones and install these in place of them?
