Thanks, it's a blast to drive. Had it to almost 90mph one time. Lol..

I know that boat in the background will top that with it's 502ci LS motor. LOL

It rides on Pirelli PZero slicks, the track was about 90 miles out. I usually drive it on the slicks when the venue is local. This time, it was an opportunity to trailer it, I've been waiting for it.

Lol yeah slicks are great for the road. Read a story of a guy over on the GT500 forums who got caught in the rain with slicks and 1100rwhp. Spun out on the highway going 50mph lol.

Slicks in the downpour take very little speed and power to hydroplane. Depending on the amount of downpour and drainage, preferrably, speed is kept at 45 mph; at certain cases, 50 mph is possible and at certain other cases, 40 mph would be too fast. I've been caught in a downpour driving on slicks for more times than I care about, but so far there is nothing bad.

I'm sure he has done 100mph in that boat. He willl hold that thing wide open longer than most. Want to see what that motor does in 400 feet with nitrous? It can eat a 300 and a 200 shot. I'm the tuner at WaterThunder, so I know a little about it. It was built to beat our unlimited motors and when it couldn't come close, James bought it. We changed some things to make it run well.

I pull the boat. No good pics together but if you look behind it you can kind of see the truck...Boat weighs about 5900 lbs and the truck pulls it well.post-136105-0-27169300-1441324581_thumb.jpg

Shoot I'd be driving her to the track and leaving the trailer at home!

People always say that when someone tows their car to the track. My follow up question to that is what do you do if something on the car breaks? i.e. drive shaft, axle, rear end, etc. you would either have to call up a really good friend to bring your trailer out there or pay a tow truck to tow you back. However, if your out of town then you are really SOL.

For me I take my car to Royal Purple Raceway in Houston (Baytown) and it's about a 45 min drive from my house. It's just easier to tow it to the track. I have driven it there and back and man it sure is tempting to street race some of the cars out there. I broke once without a trailer, it took about 3 hours to get back to the track to load it on the trailer, and once on the trailer the track was about to close.

Personally I get too much joy out of driving performance cars on the street to car whether or not a part breaks at the track. If it does then I'd get a ride home to pick up the truck and trailer. Hell half the fun is driving to the track with your buddies on the highway.

I'll be towing the track the first few times until I have my fresh build ironed out and then I'll drive it. Track is just 45 minutes so it will take some time, but screw it.

I have airbags. They weren't aired up. It would sag less then a similar truck with a wdh. Just pulled that trailer from Salt Lake city UT to Nashville TN then to Indianapolis IN over 3 days and it pulled great. Oh I also have an anti sway kit on the trailer/ hitch. 7995a1ba021023c8a9607312bca50dc0.jpg

Finally towed the big Z home. Best guestimate is around 8K loaded (6858 empty). Running Equalizer 12K WD hitch.
