Haha, yes it does. Its a 4.8l with a 76mm turbo and a TH400 on E85. Just getting it together but the best so far is 6.04@117mph in the 1/8th.

Here is a better pic of the motor/turbo setup. The downpipe is temporary until I put the bigger turbo on.

Pulling a 2015 Shadow Cruiser 280QBS with my 15' Sierra 1500, 5.3 and 3:42's.

Trailer weighs just over 7000lbs loaded with supplies and a full tank of water. With the wife, kids, dogs, and gear my truck is practically teeter tottering the GVWR.

Initially I was just using a standard WD hitch until my Reese Strait Line came in... I can honestly say that was horrifying. The hitch was adjusted properly but the wind would really push the truck around like a toy.

Now with the sway control hitch it's 10x better, I can feel the occasional gust of wind but nothing alarming. The 5.3 pulls and stops the trailer surprisingly well.

Not as big as jamin87ss's super boat aircraft carrier :driving: but my 15 Denali 6.2 tows it great. Also have a 7k tilt trailer car hauler that I haven't towed with the truck yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Probably will come close to 9klbs one day

Hey guys, first poster here. Towing a 4500lb Coachman Catalina 27" TT. Really impressed honestly with my 3.08. While i bought the truck without realizing the rear ratio (totally my fault), but it pulls really well running in 5th most of the time on the freeway at 65mph. after all the negative comments about the 3.08 rear end i was nervous about how it would handle the load. No issues AT ALL. thanks guys!

How much does the boat and trailer weigh and what are the specs on your truck? Do you have any problems towing it?

somwhere between 9500-11000 tows like a dream,,,,,,,,,,,,, well thats exaggerating, honestly it tows very well, plenty of power and the active grade control is amazing, my 05 did it ok, this thing does it just fine, glad I steered away from a 3/4ton,

Now that looks like a fun toy. I would ask for a ride, but I am on the other coast.
