Holy CRAP - how did that happen - rollover on a trail? that sucks...

 

<edit> oh yeah, you are right, plastidip still looks good!

My dad, my little brother and I were making a trip from Wasilla AK to Seattle WA to go and pick up his new boat. I figured it would be a good trip to break in the truck by towing and then introduce myself to the group with a report on my findings. When it was his turn to drive he fell asleep behind the wheel. We drifted into an easement, proceeded to get launched 20' into the air and we flew 54' forward before impacting the ground again. Thank God we all walked away from it. I fractured 2 vertebrae and fractured 4 ribs. Everyone else just pulled muscles and got bruised. I'm still walking though!

Yikes man sorry to hear. Hope you all recover, glad you all were able to walk away from it.

I'd say after that crash she held up pretty good.

Thanks guys! I'll definitely buy Chevy for the rest of my life! The '14 was my first and I got lucky finding the '15 High County that I have. Got a great deal on it too [emoji6]

agreed - 54 feet sailing through the air and it still looked pretty well put together

New to the forums. Just picked up my 16 on saturday! Had to vinyl wrap something since i always do on all of my cars. Cost me nothing since i had extra vinyl. Took me about 3 minutes to do and didnt have to worry about paint. Will work on maybe doing the lower chrome section on the bumper and the mirror caps.

love how the black emblems look, I have done both of my trucks one has had plasidip on it for over a year and still looks good

Was this bow tie a flat surface or "rippled" like the new 2016?

 

I am thinking of getting a Canadian flag version of this made and want to make sure it will stick to the non flat surface bow tie...

It's a smooth surface. Slight round but still pretty flat.
