Ever heard of Overtime? Some of those guys work insane hours from what I have heard. When I got a lot of OT at my job I almost doubled my salary. But man, there come a point when the money isn't worth it(like when you discover the work physically destroying/ed your body)

Or it bumps you in the next tax bracket and then takes take all that OT money

I was wondering about all that bs about not caring about MRC.

I was more interested in the 6 speed manual and the rear brembo's but I ain't sad fo sho! The manual also brings with it launch control as well as rumored torque vectoring. Also pretty excited about the color. Between the Callaway and the current SS the black is a PITA! I realize that dirty is dirty, but when it shows after ten minutes it's pretty frustrating.

Old Dominion Freight pays excellent wages. In my six plus years on the dock I've received almost eight dollars in wage increases. That includes standard increases every six months for three years, as well as cost of living increases. Starting wage for full time dock is almost nineteen dollars an hour in Iowa, may be a regional wage I'm not sure.

My payment isn't low to be sure, but the wife's car is paid off and the SS payment is and will be lower than the Callaway payment was. That's actually how I can make this deal work, I've been paying additional principal on the SS, matching the Callaway payment so I'm already out from under the balance to value nightmare.

No OT here. George W. changed our classification to "ag workers" since we handle ag parts so no OT until 60 hours. I'm good with about 50, which is about normal.

Well, I decided to get rid of the SS and ordered a new car. I figured if I'm going to have a fast car that handles well I should have better brakes, magnetic ride control, launch control and a six speed manual. Soooo...

Congratulations on the new ride. Says a lot about the SS if you are willing to buy another.

Thank you sir. Yes it does relay my feelings on the SS. This is the most well put together all around finest car that I've ever owned. If the '15 is indeed the last of them, I will own it forever.

Sharp.

Thank you. Pretty bright compared to what I'm used to, but the reviews from those that have seen the new color in person tell me that I made a great choice. We'll know in a few months...

Have been googling anything even Nascar related to see if there are any planned changes for replacing the SS they use & nothing.

Remember from the get go they talked about moving that production State side, but that was two years ago.

I know how you feel, felt the same when I bought the 94 Impala SS. 12 years later of mostly Sunday drives I almost got beat by a mini van at a stoplight drag. Sold it. Cant imagine that happening with the new SS in 12 years, a lot can happen in forever, nice car.

You never know Stan. I'm already down by 70HP compared to the scatpack charger and challenger, so the SS could be considered a dog in a few years. As for the hellcat, well, I'll be OK. Here's a comparison with the Challenger scatpack (6.4 liter 485hp) and others.

Also a comparison in lap times with the almost 300 hp more Charger Hellcat. I wouldn't want to meet him at the stoplight, but I'd be OK at the road course!

OK, one more. Sorry, I really like my car...

I could get away with bringing one of those home. My wife L O V E S medium blue colored cars.

Let me know how it hides scratches. I told her she can get a blue car when she starts washing them.

Only at the paycheck level, usually. When I was getting stupid OT, back when being young was still holding me together in my early to mid 20s (30 this year..... Man, I fell apart quick), I was getting 50+ regularly. Early 20s I worked 60 or more regularly, got some fat tax refunds. Probably contributed to my current problems....
