It's interesting that the 295/70/18 is almost like a 35" tire while the 295/70/17 is a 33.3" tire. I'll be doing 295/70/17 with a 2" rc level, hoping it won't rub too much

There's exactly 1" difference in height between those 2 sizes. They'll be the same width and the same sidewall height. The only difference is the rim size, which will increase the overall diameter by 1".

Makes sense, thanks!

I swapped the 295/70 r18s for 275/70 r18 to avoid bending metal to address rubbing (and the comments of double stuffing ) . It rides lower (was surprised the fender to ground measure dropped more than the 1" of the tire diff), but no rubbing.

Everything go smoothly with discount tire replacing for free? I'm probably going to do the same thing

They replaced and refunded some money for the bigger to smaller move (diff in tire price). Good company.

That's great customer service right there. When I went in a few days ago salesman told me the same thing - if the bigger tires rub too much after a few days they'll swap to smaller for no fee and refund the difference

Much better.  Those look beefy and wide for a 275/70.   What's your tread width and overall "appearance" or section width from the front and back?

My brother has a Tungsten 1500 on Toyo MT’s 33x12.50x 20, rims are 20x12 and a 2.5 Level kit.

I have a brown 1500 on Toyo MT’s 35x12.50x 20, rims are 20x10, a 7.75 lift and Bora rear 1.75” adapters.

Any other pics or your brothers ride? Would like to see x12s on just the level. How much trimming did he have to do? Only seen one other truck that’s had them with just a level

Slight run on full lock. As you can see in the back part of the tire. Here are some photos.

Maybe it’s a bad angle but those look to be x10s at best. My x10s stick out further than those. Looks good though.

Mines are 9’s. His are 12’s. I can take better photos tomorrow. His truck driver side is sitting on a slop hill.
