Denali gets MRC standard - Z71 not available

New power tow mirrors

Upgraded Infotainment with ATT data plans and downloadable apps

Dropped HD radio

That's about all we know right now.

Nothing official has been released yet but if the past is any indication, I wouldn't expect major changes. Probably some upgrades to the MyLink system and a small tweak here and there. I'm guessing most of the updates will be corrections to issues with the 2014's that will fly mostly under the radar except for those of us with 2014's that notice the fixes. People keep speculating about an 8 speed transmission but I highly doubt that will happen being that Ford and GM are co-developing a 10 speed transmission that will be out in a few years.

Why are they dropping the HD radio? That's one of my favorite features on the '14. I love listening to my AM talk radio and getting crystal clear audio!

I was really hoping for some HID's and more color matched options. Don't think either of those are happening though.

While the full list of changes is not official, the things I've mentioned above are official from GM in various press releases.

Not sure, but it appears that GM is dropping HD radio across all models for 2015. Must be a "fee" disagreement, or it doesn't fit well in the new infotainment configuration.

Anyone know if the infotainment update is a new version HIM or a complete head unit change? Maybe GTPprix knows???

I'm pretty sure it's a whole new unit. It's 4G capable, downloads & runs apps, better phone integration, etc. I think even OnStar is switching over to ATT as part of the switch. I think it's currently Verizon. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong on the OnStar stuff.

No way would OnStar switch to AT&T from Verizon. Totally different tech means they'd be buying all new comm equipment and every other vehicle would be made obsolete. That and no one can touch the coverage Verizon has. The infotainment may go AT&T but I doubt OnStar will switch. It'd be as disruptive as when they dumped analog device coverage and that was on old vehicles, not year old ones.

I was told today the infotainment system will be the same, but the new features will not be backwards compatible with the 2014s so I am guessing some of the modules might be different,.

Wow well that's a disappointment. There goes any hope of OnStar working in remote places. The coverage of AT&T in the northeast is a joke.

Does that mean you won't be able to lift the denali anymore? Because if so that sucks. My next vehicle was going to be a lifted denali :(

Will probably be companies who will specialize in it
