You're right on that one - the very first autos were more slush box than transmission. They needed some tweaks to compete with manuals.

 

The electronic ones of today shift pretty fast. That is, until there's an electrical problem ...

Well my dealer spoke to the other dealer prior to Xmas. It was available and I was told they worked out a trade. It wasn’t going to happen until after the holiday. My salesman calls Tuesday doesn’t hear anything finally on Wednesday spoke to the other dealer and the car as supposedly sold over the weekend. They had a second car few differences (minor). I said go for it but wanted to know mileage he said only a few. I said please confirm as the internet had more listed. Got some more info on car two in the mean time it was built mid June so it’s been sitting. Found out it had 102miles. The other issue is weather. I wouldn’t finish the deal unless I could see the car. They wanted me to pay for transport then it was going to sit at the dealership (after I signed papers) waiting on it to warm up. To much hassle and my gut said to wait. Definitely going to get one just a little waiting game.

I still question if car 1sold or they wanted to get rid of car 2since it was older and sitting longer.

Smart choice - I never trust car salesmen. Making the sale is their #1 priority - everything else takes a back seat. Good that you were alert on this one.

I didnt have issues with my salesman it was more the other dealership.  But at this point who can i trust (no one)

Got it ready (put the top up) to go out tomorrow. Driving it to work (rain chances just went up). Taking half day and having my resonator cut out and replaced with a magnaflow X pipe. Also aired up the tires, down about 1 psi.
