not my personal style but looks great man! Only thing I would suggest is the 7 spoke Gm 22' rims. I honestly think they would make the truck look meaner than the current rims! Other than that, you have put alot of work into this truck already and it has very much been worth it. Looks incredible

I loved it up until you notched it and I said outloud "and now it's totaled." A cut frame is a totaled truck.

My persona little BS aside though, you use it, you get it muddy, you tow/haul with it, and thats a lot more than a lot of folks will do with their trucks.

so.. more power to ya! It's your truck and as long as it suits your needs and looks cool doing it, none of us should be able to care.

Also, it looks awesome, especially slammed with mud all over it. I love that!

Did I miss a picture somewhere?

A notched frame doesn't mean it's totalled, it means it's badass.

2nd page, he notched the frame and dove into the engine.

BTW, thank you for the engine shots. I've been wanting to see what the top end of a "direct injection" motor looks like for a while now. Now I see! Good to see its still very similar to the gen3/4 Lsx motors! If it aint broke don't fix it!

Nicely done! I'm more of a lifted kinda fella but that truck makes me contemplate my thoughts on the whole lift vs slam thing

Haha, thank you!

Thank you, sir! I had a hard time picking between my current set of wheels and the 7-spoke ones actually. Went with these cause they were closer to the factory 20's.

I guess one man's trash is another man's treasure?

My pleasure, I've got more to post but am at work currently.

Been driving the truck for a couple days now, best money I've spent on the truck yet. I love the idle, love the way it runs, it seems to have more power on all fronts. Dyno tune in the next week or two and then I'll head to the track and see if I can head into the 13's.

I bet you'll be able to. That 6.2 is a monster stock. I've seen Gen 4 LS3s pull 750 WHP on a camaro with a single turbo, cam, and full exhaust only. (stock heads, stock bottom end!) Imagine what a direct injection motor could do with the same setup!

4.8's make 1000 stock heads stock bottom end...

Looks awesome, I thought about lowering my 2014, but I'd never get to my cabin if I did that…

Props to you. Slammed isn't my thing, as with many people on this forum. But everyone here should be able to appreciate the amount and quality of work that has already gone into this pickup.

Keep up the good work and documentation!

The post about your first drop said you used a 3/5 suspension drop "kit". I am very curious as to which kit you used, how the install went and your impressions of that drop. I know you went substantially lower later on, but a 2/4 or 3/5 is exactly what I am looking for my 4x4 and I can't seem to find an applicable "kit". Help a brother out.

Thanks,
