I talked to TRS today and the 35w ballasts will be in on Monday! Just an FYI

I hope it's complete. My 35watt kit arrived today with a little note in the box saying that the igniters were back ordered and they would ship when available! I was pissed that I wasn't informed of this before the partial shipment arrived hence how I ended up calling them this afternoon!

Nevermind, answered my own question. It says 20% more intense with trade off of 20% shorter life span.

I'm really bummed out. I placed my order on 12/29 and even paid extra for priority 2-day mail, was issued a tracking number same day but as of 1/5/2015 I have no package and tracking number has zero activity since being issued.

So in talking with TRS, they recommend a full retrofit on the Sierra. For those of you that have used this kit, were you impressed with the output with OEM projectors? I'm thinking about ordering this kit and then sometime down the road doing the projectors.

Yes! See my pictures above. That is the sierra spec kit with OEM projectors. At least a 300% improvement!

I just finished setting there height and they were a bit high. Not sure if this had anything to do with the bulb swap or if they were high from the factory but 25 feet away from the wall the cutoff line was about a 1.5 inches above the baseline when in reality they should be between the baseline and 2" below. I simple turn of the screws fixed the issue!

Just got an email saying it was put on hold because ballasts were on backorder. Said shipment arrived today and my order will be out today.

Are any of you guys with an SLE ordering extra bulbs to keep on hand? I ask because with the DRL ALWAYS on I'm not to sure of the longevity of the bulb.

Please excuse my ignorance here, this is my first rodeo with HID's
