Oh certainly, as long as they're OE quality. (That's probably where they're lacking. They may yellow in 2-10 years or the chrome might flake off or somethin.)

Good point on the risk/replacement. I hadn't really considered that. Well I think it turned out great.

Food for thought tho on the sharks fin, you've got chrome on the door handles, rims, and the center of the bumper, might look good as a chrome accent vs blending in with white?

The color matched shark fin come standard on 15' Denali and High Country.. if you want to order them.

Looks great!

Well I was on the fence about what I wanted to do with my headlights, either chrome Anzos or do them myself with a custom white housing. After seeing a lot of the live SEMA coverage and all the white 14+ Silverados with custom white housings I was possessed to give it a shot. Here are some pics and tips along the way…

Another member gave instructions for 15 min @ 225 degrees. The headlights were not even close to budging afterwards, so I decided to use TSR’s (The Retrofit Source) instructions for Permaseal style headlights which was 23 min @ 270 degrees. This made things MUCH easier and wish I would have started with this. It would have saved me re-heating the other way 4 times and A LOT of frustration!

Here they are baking away…

Bezels removed and reflectors shaved…and I say shaved because I took the time to plastic weld / putty the reflector mounting holes for a smooth clean look. I was surprised by some of the SEMA pics where they didn’t do this and it looked “lazy” in my opinion.

Really looks amazing! I don't have it in me to step into my wife's favorite part of our house and start using her oven for truck parts...I already catch hell for spending too much time on the truck. She trained me right, I'll just pretend I didn't see this great post.

You could always send her to a day at the spa and do everything while she's out. Maybe she won't notice

Haha had to do that one while I did my RX350 retro for a couple days.

I think you should buy a few sets, open em up, paint them, and do an exchange program.. Just a thought. ;)
