I'd pass. It'd be a total waste of money. Also some race gas still has lead in it I think and that'll wreck the cats and O2 sensors.

Uh oh. I'll stay away. The bp top tier 93 does realllly well. I love it my mpg go up and it runs better

I've seen stations here sell race gas. At $6-7/gallon. All set, there are more fun ways to pretend you're in Europe.

Yea, using race gas is different than running e85 in our trucks since it will not adjust timing accordingly. Now if you get it tuned on 112 octane.... thats a whole different animal right there.

Are there any long term effects to running E-85 in your truck? I've never had a vehicle that could use E-85 before, and in my area, I can run it for (not a lie) $1.40-$1.50 a gallon. About .40 cheaper than 87.

It's 1.22 per gallon here, so I believe you...LOL

I expect it's fine . I use it and it sure does perk my engine up. I swear it shifts better too.

Looks like I will be giving E-85 on the interstate for my upcoming trip! Thanks guys!

Im thirteen months on E85 now, the only time I don't use it is on a trip and cant get it then its 89- 93 gas.

See, the only two or three stations stations that carry it around here are nearly the same price as regular unleaded. And those stations are nearly 30 miles from me. If there was a closer station, I might try it.

E85 is more expensive here then regular gas and the poor mileage. They can't even get rid of it at the 3 stations that have it

Filled up today almost an entire tank. $24.89. ;)

Crazy, isn't it? Like we can drive for free or something.

Just wait---it can't last.

Loving the E85 drivability. But mileage is down to less than 10 mpg. Its been really cold.
