New Silverado owner, a few questions

Hi fellas, happy to finally join the Silverado club! This is my first truck. My previous vehicle, 2006 Hummer H3, broke down 3 months ago. I spent that 3 months trying to fix my H3 while I rode my Suzuki dual sport motorcycle every day on 40 mile commute to work in the cold, rain, etc. After realizing my H3 was beyond economical repair, I started haggling with Chevy dealerships on a 2014 Silverado.

I came close to closing a deal, and happened to come across a 2014 Silverado LT 5.3/3:42 with 10k miles on Craigslist. It was the same color and trim I wanted new. The seller was a doctor and paid cash for the truck, apparently he was $21k short on an expansion for his practice and needed the cash ASAP. Carfax checked out, no vibration issues, or other issues I've noticed in the 1000mi I've driven it. He added some extras to it; rear view mirror back up cam, power rear window, Line-X bedliner, flowmasters, ceramic window tint all the way around, and a $4500 stereo (with receipts from a local stereo shop). I got the truck for $27.5k, which I thought was a great deal. I'm so happy with the truck. I compete in dogsport and was toting around 2 German Shepherds and a Beligian Malinois in my girlfriend's Camry. Now I can just throw them in their crates in the bed. The bed is definitely my favorite feature!

Anyway, that's my story, these are my questions that I was hoping you guys could answer (I did try searching first).

-Would the wheel well trim from a Sierra fit on the Silverado? Or does Chevy sell that trim?

-What MPG decrease could I expect with a 2.5" RC level kit and 275/60/20 tires?

-Can you still load a dirtbike in the bed with one those retractable bed covers? I was thinking the front tire of the bike would bump against the part where the cover rolls into itself.

Here's some pics

Welcome

No trim will not work

P rated or lt rated tires? If the tires are heavier then yes you will lose mph. The level shouldn't noticeably change the mpg. I lost 1 mpg going to LT E range 275/70/18's

Welcome to the group, nice looking truck and sounds like a good buy. I have toneau cover and my dirt bike tire bumps against the bed and just barely touched the cover frame. I've never had any problems.

Welcome and nice truck!

As Ryan said, LT will cause loss of mileage. Generally, an LT tire of stock size will hurt mileage more than a P-rated tire that has been up-sized a notch or two.

Have no clue about the wheel well trim.

Dirt bike should be okay, especially with a ratchet strap or two on it.

Enjoy your new truck!

if your driving is mixed city/highway and you level your truck and put 33" tires then expect to get 15 mpg. I drive a total of thirty miles to work and back. i take a back road to get to the freeway and i drive about 45mph on it with 3 stop signs and 1 red light in a span of about 3 miles. i then hop on the freeway and drive about 70-80 mph for another 10-12 miles before i exit the freeway. my job is literally right off the freeway. i get 15 mpg which i am content with. i would like it to be better but don't really care enough to try, i just drive.
