I like this, however it should be the other way around, the old trusty 70s truck should be towing the vibrator.

KMK, VERY nice pics. Look like they're from the '78 brochure.

Does the VIN start w/ a 1 or a 2?

Thanks. The 2500 starts with a 1 (built in MI), the 78 has a different convention. It was built at the GM Lakewood Assembly in Atlanta, GA.

We need to do pictures of our 1966 and my 2016. I pointed out to my husband the other day that our trucks are 50 years apart in age. He stopped and looked at me for a moment. He was shocked that they were the far apart in age. This truck wasn't purchased new, but he thinks that his family bought it around 1976.

I was stopped at a stop light, driver that rear ended me "was looking at her radio" and made no effort to stop from 35mph. Still waiting on it to get repaired. Her insurance, Progressive, did not want top replace the bed side despite me and the shop telling them it was not fixable. Finally after 2 failed attempts at fixing it they approved replacing it. Hit so hard it pushed my spare tire onto my rear diff.

Same truck, it is slate gray metallic, depending how the lighting it it looks gray or blue.

How much damage to her car? I got rear ended years ago when a clown tried to beat a yellow light & I was stopped beyond that behind a line of cars. Tweaked my rear bumper but major damage to his Monte Carlo. The rad support was laid back about 45* & the hood was buckled up like an "A".
