Wtf is this an old far thing too cheap to pay for a ****ing light bulb?

Lights on while driving!

Studies have proven it saves lives!

I like the old style DRL where the bulb was it's own separate setup. I hate that they use the headlights now on most everything.

It has nothing to do with "paying for a ****ing light bulb". I bought this truck to be the way I WANT it. Modifying this is one more thing that makes it MY TRUCK. I have done this to every truck I've ever had thru the years and will keep doing it until its made law in the US. Auto headlights suck too, just haven't figured them out yet.

I opened up the switch, removed the return spring, put switch back together and all set. Switch stays in the off position now.

Will this make the Automatic Head Lights be Not Auto ?

Yes, headlights will be manual as well, exactly the way I want them.

If I could just find a way to not have the dash lights react to the light sensor all would be well.

Cover the sensor.

I just got done with this mod and it stays off as expected. But there is an issue. When I turn the lights to ON (not auto) they don't come on anymore. Auto works, fogs work, everything else works. Thoughts?
