Dealer got my order wrong

I ordered a 2015 Sierra All Terrain with the option of the chrome bumpers. Truck came in this week with the painted bumpers. What are my options?

I need the truck now. Camping season is here and have trips planned. Was thinking of telling them to order chrome and install plus something in the way of some more credit for my frustration.

dang was hoping you were located around Houston. my opinion see if someone wants some color matched bumpers and they have chrome ones so yall can switch out on the dealers dime.

 

if you had white bumpers and were located in somewhere around Houston I would do it in a heartbeat!

Do they have a red truck on the lot with chrome? Ask for a swap, order a new truck (find a new one out there), have dealer order bumpers and swap in their dime, or deal with it are really your only options

I didnt think the AT had the option of chrome bumpers, part of the reason I chose the AT package was for the monochromatic look.

Yes I think having them swap bumpers w/ one on the lot, or order/install a new set would be the best solution.

If the bumper is the only thing that's wrong, don't sweat it. There is a piece of paper a person signs at the dealership that says what is still pending and promised from the dealer. Make sure the paper says the dealer owes you a chrome bumper, sign it, then you and the family enjoy the trip.

Going to talk with the dealer Monday about the problem. Hopefully they order me new bumpers.

I would tell them to order bumpers, and install, in writing of course, if they fuss dont take it, they messed up not you,

 

Tjay74 yes there is a chrome option for the A/T I also think it defeats the purpose of the a/t look, but to be honest at this point I would not mind them,

Chrome is an option. I do like the looks of the painted bumper but I drive a lot of gravel and didn't want rock chips.
