Did the prior body style have the vibration issues???

Well, mine, and 7 of my friends 900's are smooth as silk. If they vibrated, it wasn't as widespread as the latest marvels.

Just curious to know if I am chasing a ghost here. We're test driving lots of trucks because GM has agreed to replace our vibrator. When you all say NO vibration does that mean absolutely ZERO. Or do you all have a very slight one at highway speeds? We've tried 4 2015 sierras and they all had a light vibe on the highway. I just curious if I should keep test driving all these trucks or if a light vibration in the highway is actually normal. As one of the salesman said, it's all relative depending on people. I'm willing to continue searching if there really are trucks out there that truly do NOT vibrate at all or if my body has been tuned to feel every imperfection, normal or not. Thanks for the input!

Mine vibrated at 120 kmh on the test drive but I had them swap the tires from 20" to 18" for a credit on the purchase and no vibrations. I went for a drive last night and have a slight vibration at ~80 kmh (50 pmh) but nothing I care about. Have ~250 km on the truck.

Probably no vehicle is shake free under all conditions. I honestly have not felt any that I am concerned about. I watched your video on the other thread and it was bad. Hope you find one you can be satisfied with!

Yes....... 2015 GMC 1500 4x4 z71. 19 miles, left for vacation the day after and noticed it had a bad vibration but drivable. Adjust tire pressure down and that helped a little. Truck now has 1,000 miles and it's not getting better. Feels like tires but we will see what the dealer says.

Is my truck as smooth as a Cadillac or full size Buick? No, but pretty good. I think my minimal ride issue is with the factory Goodyear tires, I just don't think they roll very smooth. Coincidentally I replaced the factory Goodyear tires (which rode great) on my wifes 2011 Acadia with the same model Goodyear and the ride was worse than with the worn out originals. Not a balance issue, just not a smooth ride. My guess is that Goodyear changed something either in design or manufacturing that impacted ride quaility.

I was very concerned about the vibration issue when I purchased my truck and I test drove several vehicles and can honestly say that I never experienced the shake that many describe here. The water in a water bottle in my cup holder does vibrate a little but I don't feel any vibration in the steering wheel, seat, floor or pedals. As a matter of fact, the best ride occurs at 70+ mph.

None of the folks I know have the vibration issue either, similar vehicles- 2014 Silverado/Sierra 1500 CC 4wd 5.3. Two of them were early builds and one built spring 14.
