Front bed rail cap

Hey Y'all, I apolgize if this has been posted before, I did a search before posting this with zero results.

Does anyone make a good front bed rail cap for the 14-15 Silverado 1500s?

I absolutely hate how the front bed rail paint is exposed and would like to cap it.

If there are multiple options (I saw dee zee had a diamond plate one which I don't care for and does not look like it covers down very far) and maybe one other one which was plastic?

If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it. I am looking for one that would match my existing ones as best as possible.

Thanks,

Greg

Not exactly a cap for front rail, but I installed a Bed Rug liner and it goes up to the very edge of the vertical part of the cap leaving just the "top" exposed.

Mine has factory spray in liner so the top is covered. It would be nice to have a cap that made it level with the side rails. The Extang hard cover I have requires a thick foam weatherstrip to fill the gap.

Get in contact with Wade Products (Westin?) and see if they have anything coming. I see Wade offers the front rail cover for previous year trucks, why not the new ones?

How much different is a front bed rail on a 2013 and a '14?

I'd like one on my truck if they were available.

Thanks for the help! Bak had one for the older gen trucks but not the newer ones

It may be the same as the 07-13

I live a short distance from a Chevy dealership, once the rain stops I'll have ot go see if they have any used '07-'13 Silverados on the lot to compare to the new ones.

I just noticed this on mine. I had a GM under the rail liner in my GMT800 and had one installed on my K2 today and I was surprised to see there was no front rail overlap like on my gmt800. I put on a xactang cover... But still....

Just bought one off of eBay for $25.99 shipped.

Auction # 271653571986

Went down this a.m. before coming back to this thread and verified that the front bed rails are identical on a 2013 and newer truck.

I bought a westin for a 07-13 and just had to trim it a little bit but, it contributed to some leaking with my old undercover flex tonneau cover so I ditched it, it's in my attic I might add it back in but, I have plans to have the bed line-x'd in the next few years.

Duplicate post but thanks for the additional information

Thanks for the help guys, I had more time to look into this last night. I really apprecate the link from Westin's website that confirms the cap mentioned will fit up to the 15 Silverado.

The added bonus was the Ebay link for $25.99 shipped! That's a great deal, Order placed! I'm looking forward to getting it installed and not having that big red "target" on my front bed rail just asking to be scratched!

Thanks again for all who contributed to this thread, I apprecaite the help.
