that is just nutty. do you never drive in the country at night? i've had limo multiple times before on all windows but windshield. never ran 15 on my windshield. that is dark. i bet it is nice in the middle of a summer day. cops have got to screw with you. it is just too obvious.

I had it on my last truck and loved it. Only thing is on my last truck I had HIDs that made it better. I have got to get them still on this truck. But it's still not bad looked thru windshield, it's the side windows when trying to back up, but that's not due to front window. I don't drive much at night anyways:/.

 

Cops actually haven't bothered me about it, probably because I'm a firefighter and have the tags. And again I had them the same on my last truck for at least the last 3 years I had the truck and no problems.

 

I probably wouldn't have got 15 on the front but my buddy that is the professional tint guy didn't have the wider tint for anything other than 15 the day I had him tint the truck. I probably would of got 35 or something. Still love it tho, hate riding in vehicle without it

I can't remember but the fronts are 20 or 25%; rear are factory.

I don't think I could ever own a truck with out tint. I get in to other people's vehicle with out tint, and I feel naked! I never have had any problems with cop here, as long as you don't draw attention to yourself, they really don't care.

I have 20% on the sides and rear. I did 20% over the rear tint. Matches perfectly.

 

 

Those of you with your windshield tinted. How does it look around the dot matrix around the border of the windshield.

For everyone with the tint brow/sun strip, how far down are you getting it tinted?

This is what im thinking here. Let me know if yall think im over thinking this or not.

 

Rear: 50% over the factory rear 20% should get me close to 10%

Front: 20 % over the factory front 70% should get me close to 14%. (Ill go with 15% over the front 70% if he has it to get closer to the 10% on the back glass)

Windshield: 50% over the factory 70% windshield should get me close to 35%

 

I have went 5% on all my other vehicles and loved it, but this vehicle I will be doing a lot of towing with it so I want to give it some protection, keep it dark, but still have some visibility. I have read that the factory tint in windows, even at 20%, doesn't provide much protection from the UV rays and what not. Vehicle never gets parked under a roof. At 31 years old my eyes aren't what they use to be!

It looks good. I thought I was going to have an issue with bubbles but I had no problems.
