Funny that they made it live same day as the Super Duty reveal at Texas State Fair. Although I think GM was showing their trucks at the fair as well...

 

Too bad they didn't launch with this face in 2014 (I'm sure K2 was supposed to but...that's another story) as it looks really good in all the trims, especially the WT through LT with the black grille inserts. I didn't like the honeycomb pattern on WT, LS and the chrome honeycomb on LT at all.

Now that I've seen it completely revealed, I still like the 14/15... But that's just my opinion. I wonder what the 19 will look like? This truck still looks 10x better than the new Ford though.

Silverado gets the Gear-On system (or a version of it) for 2016 as an option. Same for the offroad rollbar that is on the Colorado.

The Front Headlight LED's look week vs what 2014/2015 members have done with their trucks... Nitrodatsik "DropKick" Truck for one looks awesome and the 2016 is a weak attempt IMO..

I'm really happy with my 2015 Silverado! The new 2016 in my opinion is going away from looking like a truck! It's to round around the front end.

Of course we all like different things but I don't see enough of a change to be upset over GM changing the front end so soon. I bought my 15 High Country 3 weeks ago knowing this was coming and now, seeing the 16 High Country grille I'm even more happy that I pulled the trigger when I did. Of the new ones, the only one I see that looks like an improvement to me is the LTZ. Also, the LED's on the High Country look horrible
