Unknown Device?

Hi all.

 

Just bought 2014 Crew cab z71 and found this device on the lower dash. Truck is 3 days old to me. My first thought was trailer brake controller but the truck has factory installed on upper dash. No visible markings on it to research via internet. Traced wires up behind dash w/o removing dash and it appears to be heading toward the infotainment center but not sure. As of yet it operates nothing. Any ideas folks? Thanks All

Looks like a bass control switch, previous owner probably had amp/subwoofer installed

Agreed. Thats got sub level control written all over it. Look under the back seats... maybe you got lucky and the previous owner keft you the rest of the system!

Well you guys nailed it. I contacted the dealer just before i posted here and they just got back to me. Previous owner had some subs and an amp. I was going to remove it but now i might keep it. Still have an amp and subs of my own from awhile back. And, all of the wiring is there as well. Nice little winter project. Thanks again!
