Please define the above...What are "Serious" Headlights? When you say "insane", does that refer to their performance or their looks?

After nearly 40k miles, I have 2 complaints about my truck.

1) The headlights are weak and are disappointingly dim.

2) The heat and air system doesn't actually shut off. In the winter months it either burns you out or you have to put it on 60 and "shut it off". Basically it always lightly blows either A/C or Heat so you are always cold or hot.

Your truck looks great! Would be curious to know if the above two things have been updated/improved. Congrats!

Every GM truck I've ever owned does that with the HVAC system. Just how they are. Like was said previously, you can hit the recirculation button to limit it, but it will still happen. Nice truck, BTW! Toying with the idea of trading my 02 2500HD in on a new Sierra 1500 SLE

It's funny I looked at this post because this is the exactly dealership I just bought my truck from. I was given the 20% off MSRP deal too. I had been looking at a 2015 and decided to randomly make a call to this dealership. Guy I talked to was Evan and everything was done over the phone. Was even given more for my 2014 Sierra than my local dealer would allow, and that was without looking at it. They delivered my truck to me in MS. I signed the papers, and they took the old truck with them.

 

Answering the question to the headlights. They are absolutely phenomenal. The LEDs project 5 times as much light and have a wider area of coverage. High beam throughs the light much further too.

OM instructions still talk about removing it before off roading and replacing it for highway use.

Nothing's different on the new ones, I hate those damn things, first thing I do when I get home is take it off.
