Serious Headlights, The headlights are insane!

 

Please define the above...What are "Serious" Headlights? When you say "insane", does that refer to their performance or their looks?

After nearly 40k miles, I have 2 complaints about my truck.

1) The headlights are weak and are disappointingly dim.

2) The heat and air system doesn't actually shut off. In the winter months it either burns you out or you have to put it on 60 and "shut it off". Basically it always lightly blows either A/C or Heat so you are always cold or hot.

Your truck looks great! Would be curious to know if the above two things have been updated/improved. Congrats!

Bought it at Barkley GMC in Tuscaloosa for $11,300 off sticker which seems like some scam, although it was legit. They were great to deal with.

 

They delivered it 4 hrs to me and took my Tahoe back with them.

if you turn off the air system and it is still blowing slightly try pushing the recirculate button. should stop that for you. gm has had their air systems work like this for a very long time now. just provides fresh air even when not using it.

It's funny I looked at this post because this is the exactly dealership I just bought my truck from. I was given the 20% off MSRP deal too. I had been looking at a 2015 and decided to randomly make a call to this dealership. Guy I talked to was Evan and everything was done over the phone. Was even given more for my 2014 Sierra than my local dealer would allow, and that was without looking at it. They delivered my truck to me in MS. I signed the papers, and they took the old truck with them.

 

Answering the question to the headlights. They are absolutely phenomenal. The LEDs project 5 times as much light and have a wider area of coverage. High beam throughs the light much further too.

The headlights are really good, really! Dim is better than most brights I have seen.

 

As for other parts of the system I don't like the way they have the memory seats set up now as compared to the previous GM setups.

 

The guy I dealt with at Barkley was Zach, and they too delivered it 4 hrs and offered me a respectable amount for my Tahoe site unseen.

Have only transported a few 2016 SLT's so far & the last few were at night.

The new head lights are definitely impressive.
