The back seat is the same as the front leather ass and back. Which is fine with me the vinyl will wear better on the front seats for the getting in and out. As for the back seat. It will be easier to clean. I have a two And five year old. So I guess to each his own. I haven't had time to install yet but they feel great in the box lol

So the rear seating area is leather? I was under the assumption the previous post I quoted meant the entire rear seat was vinyl.

I know for sure the two outside seats are leather seating surface. I'll take a picture if I can get to the box we are moving so it could be tricky

Thanks! I don't mind having vinyl in non-seating areas, provided the seating area is leather.

My entire surface was leather on mine it just depends on what set you get and how you customize

doors: will have black suede inserts and coffee arm rest with black stitching

headliner: black suede with black visors

plastic: dyed black

all this will be costing me 2500 the suspension shop should have him my full interior by next thursday and he will start wrapping and dying all my plastic until the katzkin seats come in

I see a lot of people have done this themselves. I have purchased a set and am tearing my seats down, but I'm stuck.

Can anyone tell me how the heck to get the rear cover off the front bucket seats without breaking it? I can only find one video and it blows right passed removing the rear cover. I spent way too much time just trying to find a video or even a pic of the clips so I can see what they look like.

I've tried gently pulling on it and that didn't work so I stopped there.

FYI if you get a set for the 16/17(also fits 14/15) the backs are part of the cover just like factory and you don't reuse the plastic seat back panels.Looks nicer too.

Installed a set on my 14 a few weeks ago turned out beautiful.

I have cloth bleh. Is this the same leather the dealer upgrades to? They told me they could put leather in it but wasn't sure if it would look tacky, half ass.

And here's something else I didn't know I needed on my build list. What's another $600 fricken dollars, right? :tear:

Here's where I got mine. It's a professional upholstery shop. They include a video of how they do the install in their shop.I had some questions and the owner spent 20 minutes on the phone with me answering my questions and giving me some tips.I highly recommend. You don't have to buy them on ebay if you don't want to I called and bought them directly, same price $550.00. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2014-2015-2016-Chevy-Silverado-Sierra-Crew-Katzkin-leather-seat-cover-set-Black-/231747338452?epid=1265141360&hash=item35f537c0d4:g:6CsAAOxyLm9TFUBV&vxp=mtr
