Has anyone modified programming to allow a low cruise control speed?

Setting the cruise at something like 5MPH could be very useful off road - sort of like a crawl control. Is this even possible?

not to be that guy but I really think that even for offroad a slow cruise control wouldn't be helpful. Just cause then you're more likely to take your attention away from what you are doing.

 

now if you used your truck for tossing newspapers out of, then I could see a slow 5mph cruise/crawl control to be useful

Idea just occurred to me when I was creeping up a gravel road this morning.

No, no one has done it and it wont be possible as we don't have access to the BCM programming to change anything. The only modules that can be access for programming are the ECM and TCM, there are no cruise control functions in those modules.

24 mph on the 2015.

It was 24mph on my 14 and on my 15 it's the same. My Golf goes all the way down to 12 or 14, which is useful in 15mph and 20mph school zones
