Not sure who all follows the TFL Truck channel on YouTube...but they did a new series where they take a vehicle up a snowy hill, do a sharp curve, and climb up some more. Then they talk about the tires and traction control setup blah blah.

They did the Dodge Power Wagon the other day and it just make it look like a cakewalk. Nice trucks!

So far they haven take a few vehicles up. F150 Raptor, Infinity QX80, new Nissan Titan diesel, Toyota Land Cruiser... I won't spoil any of them but you can watch them here:

What's special about a Power Wagon? I was messing around with the truck builder on Dodge's website and noticed that you cannot get a diesel in it, nor a mega-cab and the tow capacity decreases yet it costs more. Does it have a beefed up powertrain or something?

Think Raptor.

Actually don't think Raptor.

The Power Wagon sits on a 2500 frame. When you think Power Wagon think go anywhere vehicle. Has disconnecting front and rear sway, 4.10 locking gears front and rear, and tons of ground clearance. Not to mention a factory winch.

The Raptor sits on a 1500 frame. Think of a Baja 500 racer. The Raptor is mean't to be a desert runner that can go really fast. The Raptor can't get through everything like a Power Wagon can.

TFL Truck does some decent reviews and they seem to get their hands on every pickup possible.

I watch their video reviews but they get extremely annoying to me. I really can't stand that one fat guy with the messed up missing teeth, "Mr. Truck" I believe. He is terrible annoying and is hard to watch. He is a huge a Ford nutthugger, obsessed with their EcoBoost engines and makes that very obvious.

I can only stand the videos without his nonsense in them, especially when he's sitting there smiling with his mouth open looking like a jack-o-lantern!

Other than that, they do an ok job for the most part.

To bad Chevy doesn't make a truck to compete with the power wagon there are incredible trucks. In two years when my trucks paid for it would be hard not to trade it off on a new power wagon but then again Im a fan of GM and Dodge it doesn't bother me to go back and forth between the two. I just wish GM would grow a pair and build something cool heck even a new 6.2 regular cab short box stick shift SS Silverado would be bad ass that should be simple for GM to do.

I'm really hoping this new Titan some how makes GM come out with the LMK 4.5 Duramax.

I don't no some how I doubt it GM never seams to be a leader its always seems to be a follower if GM would of put a 4.5 D/max in there 1500s back in 09 or 07 or when ever they were yapping about it I bet it would of bin the best selling truck for years and they would of made a ton of money on it. My thoughts are theyll wait till everyone else has a diesel 1/2 then three body styles later that's when GM will finally decide to make one that's providing they don't go bankrupt again . I personally think it's just stupid why they don't already have something for us GM guys to compete with ecoboost and eco diesel. I always wondered why GM doesn't turbo the 4.3 again back in the 90s GM was able to get a lot of power outa there V6 motors. I bet now if GM wanted to I bet they could get 400 HP outa the 4.3 with turbos . Personally I think GM lost its touch they seem to lack the passion they once had they could really make something outa themselves if they just tried. But hell that's my look at things.

Not complicated. Duratracs + locking diffs gets you up the hill. Don't get me wrong, the truck has lots of other cool stuff but those are the ingredients that mattered there. The Raptor doesn't have a locking front diff but its Torsen is pretty good in most situations; I think it probably would have made it up with a fresh set of Duratracs or KO2s instead of the worn out old-style BFG's.

Same here. Quit watching the Silverado 5.3 Ike Gauntlet as soon as he came on the screen. He's like that weird guy that would other wise be driving the short school bus.

Yep. Though these guys don't know crap about offloading. I've seen them do this trail area before and they don't even air down.
