I don't want to drill holes either. I'm going to be installing a bed rug when it warms up and I'm not quite sure what to do here. I don't really want to have any holes in that except for the tie downs. I'm actually thinking of doing some kind of catch system that I just dump after it rains. Open to other ideas though.

I used the factory bed holes and cut into the plugs to make it look as clean as possible.

Had an Undercover Classic on a Tacoma for 10yrs with no issues so that's what I went with. Solid, dry and looks good.

I have U.S. truck cover, I'm guessing it might not be low enough profile for you?

It sits on top of the bed rails, But at the front it has an 8" canister, so there is a lid that covers it that sticks up about a 1/2"

It hasn't leaked on me yet, but I haven't driven it in the snow, where you can get that fine powder blowing around.... The nice thing is you can open it up in 12" increments and it stores in its own container..... You do lose that 8" but you don't have to go home to take it off to pick up whatever you decided to buy in there spur of the moment, or like some of the flip ones that block your rear window when you fold them up...... Just a thought?

I have a Bak flip and so does my father...one thing to note, there are TWO versions.

Mine is the F1 I believe (the heavier duty version of the two) and it is nearly twice as heavy as my father's which makes it a PITA to open and close on a 2500hd. I'm six foot and no weaklinh, and I'm grunting to flip more than two sections open.

Further, mine is going on five years old now. It has been well used, survived a hail storm that left a couple small dents in the truck (none in the cover), been open and closed a lot. It is no longer water proof, and has started leaking at the first section (the portion that gets flipped open and closed the most often).

Overall I like the design, but I would probably look at something different next time.

I went extang, excellent warranty and read nothing but good things about their warranty handling years on down the road (lifetime). DIdn't need a hard cover and didn't want to give an invitation to someone to damage the truck trying to get into something tough when I put nothing but junk or kids sports stuff back there. Also didn't want to loose bed space since it's a short bed, and wanted a flat low profile surface no lines, and nothing that could collect dirt and dust in slats or cracks or be tough to clean.
