Anyone got pics of the 275/70R18s?   Is it a general consensus that a 34X11.5 is the largest you can fit without touching the suspension?

I have LT295/70R18 on my ride now.  They're a 34.29"x11.77" tire and I don't have any rubbing.

Sweet ride!  I have the same truck without the bars.  I'm considering the same size Duratracs.  Still no rubbing?  Even at full crank?  How's the ride?

No rub at all, forward, backward, lock to lock. Rides smooth. I haven't been camping yet this year, but been over a few curbs lol.

275/70/18 BFGoodrich Ko2    I raised the front about an inch   4 cranks on the bars.  i dont think it would have rubbed if i didnt.

BfGoodrich All-terrain 35x12.5x18 on stock 2500.

Rubs chassis at full lock, I tend to avoid bouncing off full lock already. Was thinking of going with the rancho 4.5 kit since it says you can use your stock wheels.

I just ordered a 2019 Silverado 2500hd 4x4 Diesel. Going to get aftermarket 17s with at least a +18 offset. What’s the biggest tire I can fit? I guess if you have a 2018 I can use that for comparison. I want to get nitto Ridge grapplers, 295/70R18s.

Going to be tough to put 18 inch tires on 17 inch wheels. Hopefully a typo...

I have 18's on mine, and have the torsion bars cranked a little, and plan on putting the 295 70 18 tire size on my truck also. They should fit fine with a few more turns on the stock torsion bar keys.

Edit, a 2019, the new stye? All bets off, sorry. post up when you get it!

Yes it was a typo!! Haha. I want 295/70R17, will go 285/70R17s if I have to. I prefer though the look of filling the wheel well with as much tire without rubbing. If you get those tires gearheadesw post a picture! Thanks

If you're sticking with the stock 17's, then 285/75/17 are probably the largest you can go. You can view my build thread for pics of that setup before cranking my torsion bars and changing my wheels. 295/70/17 should also fit easily too.

I'll second that question!!!

Here you go:

Wheels turned to the point of minimum clearance (9 o'clock to the left / right on steering wheel) still has 1 inch of clearance.

multiple trips this weekend with a trash trailer (5k lbs), still was able to get around the yard in tight spaces without rubbing - just avoided the last 2-3 inches of full lock on the steering wheel.
