I've Had It!

I have had my new '16 for 16 days. I love it. Coming from an '07 Avalanche a lot has changed in 9 years.

Not that I don't have issues with it. Little things really.

1. My PAYMENT BOOK SHOWED UP TODAY. I hate that thing!

2. It drives me crazy that the Radio sometimes has a mind of it's own. 90% of the time I listen via AUX but it randomly will start playing music on my iPhone.

3. Even thought it is a 16 and it has the white clips for seat movement, I still feel a very minor shift every once in a while. I drove my dads '15 for 50 days and his drivers seat has serious shifting issues.

Although he claims to have never noticed it. :O

4. The Hitch receiver was welded incorrectly. My current hitch lock will not lock because of how they welded it together. I will be taking it in to the dealer to have them swap it out. I hope I don't get the run around on this.

Other than these little things I am VERY HAPPY 16 day in. Sometime tomorrow I will roll over the 1000 mile mark.

Over all I am very happy

Coming from an '07 is nothing. I came from a '98 Z71 to my '14 and before that I went from an '86 Chevy C10 to the '98 lol.

Newbie. I came from a 91. And now on to my complaints:

1. Making payments. LOL Actually this affirms that it is mine. And I am grateful that I can afford it and that I get to drive it. Everyday.

2. Men asking me if it is my truck.

Actually it belongs to the bank......till you make that LAST payment. :sigh:

Still driving my 2001, and like others said, there is a LOT of changes coming from the older trucks.

Coming from a 13 Avalanche a lot has changed in 3 years.

Over 1500 miles on the '16 and I've got no complaints other than I missed the fastback look of the Avy like my old Chevelle.

Problem solved:

Why oh why did I know that someone was going to remind me of that nasty little detail about the bank. But I still get to drive it. :driving:

I also miss the fast back look of my Avalanche. But I don't care for the looks of those GM "Sport Bars". I will learn to live the change.

Take it back to your dealer and demand a buyback from GM!

I tried, but the son of a gun Dealer told me my trucks symptoms "no issues" was normal!

My truck is 8 months old and I love it...the only thing I'm having trouble with is when I wash it,seeing Sierra and not Silverado. ( My first Sierra) had a Silverado for almost 10 years. Lol

I've got the same issue. LOL! I had two Silverados before this truck, but I love my Sierra!!
