Interesting story there on the Ft Wayne Oshawa team up.

I have to say the boys in Oshawa did a great job with my 2011 Camaro

Lol, I too an wondering what made this thread go sideways, I haven't really bothered to go back and look. I think a troll with too much time came here and sabotaged it. Well, it did take a couple of months. Still enjoying the Hyundai?

First off...what the hell happened to my exit thread! LoL It got messy quick.

I'll be honest, I severely miss my Sierra. The SFS is nice, but it's just NOT the same. I wouldn't be surprised if I am out of SFS in a year or two and get back into a truck......

Thanks Boomer119, I did not lease the Santa Fe. I was able to take advantage of employee pricing through a family member and got a ridiculous discount on the vehicle. It's a nice vehicle, but I definitely miss my truck.

It came down to my truck was a lease, and I was over the miles. And it was also in an accident two summers ago. To buy out the truck from the lease was like 33k all in. But since it was in an accident it was only worth around 25k-26k. So I would have taken a big loss right off the bat on the truck.

The Hyundai is reliable, comfortable and adequate transportation. But it's definitely on the bland side of the spectrum. I miss my truck tho.

I'll give you six months before you're back in another Sierra.

Haha don't jinx me!

I wish GM made a higher trim regular cab short box truck. I would be all over that!

They're bringing in Silverado/Sierra's from Fort Wayne to do final assembly at Oshawa.

Definitely interesting to follow.

Interesting if the do either pickup or SUV final assembly after doing the bodyshop work somewhere else.
