My BBB complaint has been filed. I mailed all my paperwork back today. According to there rules. I'm over the time limit. But we will see what they see.

Over the limit time wise from the initial problem, or something else?

Does your vin. number start with a 3?

Yes it does!

Other than this issue, the truck has actually been flawless. None of the issues that a lot of others have been dealing with (fingers crossed).

My paperwork has been received at this point, and my case is officially open. GM has called and wants an engineer to look at the truck. Has anyone got to this point with there complaint? What can I expect next?

My 2015 1500 All Terrain went back to the shop for the 7th time last Friday. It took 5 try's to get a rinky dink RC 2.5" level kit installed properly (still not) and another time for leaky sunroof which has water pouring thru my DVD player.

I took it to them this time as the roof has water stains from some leak, the truck rides like a "dune buggy" especially when towing 3400lb boat and the last thing I have requested them to look at is the lack of take off/throttle response. ..............being I'm on loaner #7 I can tell how these trucks are supposed to drive and the loaners are night and day from mine.

The dealer has vowed to make this right but talk is cheap. They haven't called to tell me anything yet and we are on day seven.

I am so frustrated with this and ready to give this POS truck with their sorry customer care back to them.

The field engineer had my truck Friday, said he would need it all day. Picked it up that night. Service manager said he only had it 30 minutes. There was only 16 miles put on it when I picked it up.

He said there is nothing wrong with it, today I got an email from the BBB saying my complaint was made after 12 months of purchase and my claim is closed.

Basically I'm screwed. GM gives no shit, They got there money. What a crock. I can not get over they let me leave with a malfunctioning truck, it just blows my mind. I'm sure they will string me along a little longer untill the factory warranty runs out.

To anyone else have issues, good luck.

I'd trade it in at the Stealership giving you the run-around. You get a new truck that works as it should, and you dump the POS you've got back in their lap.

And the dealership will sell the truck to some unsuspecting individual and dump the problem in his lap. So instead of fixing it, they are just kicking the can down the road.

Sounds like a politician LOL. Seriously, I'm going thru the same vibration crap and it is frustrating as hell. Pay out good $$ and ya get stuck with a POS.

They wont give me crap for it, I have all ready tried that. Also tried trading in at a Ram dealership, they offered me peanuts also....

But isn't the truck supposed to work as it should? So doesn't mean your next one won't have a vibration issue. I have 28,000 on my '14 and so far so good with no issues. Just the loose u-bolt nuts causing clunking that pretty much everybody had.

In anyone's past experience, will GM try to make anything right?

Absolutely! I had an '07 NBS that liked to kak out engines, dealership was a disaster, GM was awesome and made it right!

Also yes. My brother-in-law had a new motor in his 2011 avalanche at almost 5 years old. It was using oil and after few times trying to fix it, they decided to put new motor in it. All covered 100% under power train warranty.

It's kind of odd how much the GM response differs from issue to issue. Mine was enough to change brands, others experience has been golden. Makes you wonder if the mode changes from ”do everything they can" to "do as little as possible" depending on unknown to us variable.

I agree. I was shocked when he told me they were putting new motor.

SLOW3R, my best advice with this is to constantly contact GM customer care. I called customer care every time my truck went into the dealer and every time I got my truck back. They finally assigned my case to a senior agent and he is the only one that I deal with now through customer care. He takes on the lead of communication with the dealer, GM, and myself and personally calls and emails me once to twice a week to check up and update with any new findings. I have been having multiple issues with my 15 and after 9 months of dealing with two dealers and GM customer care we are finally working on a resolution. It took about 8 visits to two dealers and a GM corporate rep looking at my truck to finally offer a buy-back with trade assist or something of that nature. I am not 100% sure how it is all going to work out yet as myself, the dealer, and GM are unable to locate a suitable replacement vehicle so we have yet to get down to the brass tacks of how this will all work out money wise but I am hopeful some resolution will be made soon. Come to find out why we can't find a suitable replacement is I supposedly have a rarity of a truck with how it is equipped, also I am trying to find a USA assembled truck rather than a Mexico one.
