Looks like the postcards I get from my local dealer saying the used truck market is hot and he can get me above market value for my truck if I trade out and buy a new one because he has a buyer looking for a truck just like mine. It's mostly a scam. If it was legit, the dealer would be calling you not sending you a spam email. If you have time to kill call them.

Well radio went nuts again on the way home from work...... yay back to the dealer.

Will a BBB complaint get me anywhere. Anyone ever been offered trade allowance, or buy back? How does that process work?

That email was nothing but a sales spam email....

Just trying something to keep your mind moving.....

My BBB complaint caught the attention of GM. I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm pushing for a buy back. 40 some days in the shop so far this calendar year.

Contact GM directly. They will contact the dealer and it's amazing how the dealer starts treating you after GM calls them to tell them to fix your problem!

That got me no where when I had problems. They just kept saying the service manager, who is also the customer service rep, will handle it

My BBB complaint has been filed. I mailed all my paperwork back today. According to there rules. I'm over the time limit. But we will see what they see.

...........or send your neighbor of the correct race and magically after 11 months with no progress 1 of my trucks got repaired.

My 2nd truck is at the dealer now getting repaired, thanks to my neighbor.

I just replaced the front and rear diff fluids on my 2015 denali; the truck has 17000 km (10,200 miles) on it, never been in any deep water, and has never had the diff fluids replaced.

The rear diff fluid was dirty with break in debris as expected, but the front diff fluid was milky white with water. No leaking seals, the vent tubing is properly attached, and the vent cap is properly in place. This seems as though it could only be sabotage on the assembly line.

From all the posts I've read throughout the year, everyone's issues are driveline related. I'm wondering if there are some disgruntled employees on the GM assembly lines. I'm luck that I change the driveline fluids a lot sooner than most, or I would have some serious damage if I waited for the recommended 60,000 km Mark (36,000 miles).

Everyone should check their drivetrain fluids sooner than later.

Not sure I get your logic...disgruntled assembly line workers sabotage their own product, that needs to sell and continue selling to keep them employed and feed their families. Highly doubtful. More than likely that front diff has not gotten hot enough to let the condensate evaporate out of the oil that has accumulated over time. The rear diff has no problem getting warm enough because it's always used unlike the front diff.

Milky white in 5 months time is pretty significant, I've never had that issue in the front diff of any of my previous trucks. And that's 27 trucks that I've owned and maintained in 29 years.

If it's any comfort, that milky white is fairly normal for break in fluid. I've seen it in various makes and models. Front, rear, transfer case, you name it. I do think its a good idea to get it out of there around 10,000 miles.

Pulling the race card. Really???? Race has nothing to do with it.

I battled with several dealers for over 10 months with zero success. My neighbor took his truck in 2 days after his issues(same as mine) started.

His was promptly repaired with zero hassle. As a joke I suggested he take one of mine in, he did and now its fixed. He then took my 2015 Denali in last week and magically it's repaired. He will be taking my Dads 2016 in tomorrow, wanna bet it gets fixed promptly.

I repaired one of my 2015's myself by replacing the trans and torque converter on my dime because of getting nowhere with the dealers, all the time having TSB's in hand showing them the problem. The transmission tech drove my Dad's 2016 and told him not to drive it anywhere it was about to come apart, yet the rep said it was operating as designed.

He also has captured a dealership employee on video making some very racist remarks.

They pulled the race card, not me.

The truth hurts.

If you think race has nothing to do with it you are badly mistaken.

Tell me then Einstein, what do you think was the deciding factor for them to admit an issue and then repair it after denying issues on 4 different trucks for 10+months?
