Anyone know what this green plug is?

WTH is a "brake clutch"? Lol

I think it has to do with Silverado/Sierra built for countries that still offer a manual transmission in these trucks. Brake pedal and clutch position sensors run through that harness on trucks with a stick.

Uh oh. You tell your wife you found it? She knows you stopped by Hooters on the way home from work yesterday BTW...

So I put a call into my trusted Service manager at the GM dealership and asked him ~ he asked the techs...and none of them know. He went to the schematics and it tells him "harness". I appreciated that he called me to let me know.

Now this thing is bugging me to find out what it is. I was looking at the owners manual online and found a picture of it (fuses I believe) and it shows something being plugged into it and it seems the wire coming out of the plug splits into two different directions: One towards backs towards the interior of the dash (firewall) and the other towards the face of the dash.

It doesn't look like you have the factory trailer brake controller. Maybe it is a harness for that?

No idea what the plug is for but....I see you have an Escort detector with a smart cord. Good bit of kit there. My 9500i has saved my ass many times! Picks em up from many miles away sometimes.

X2 Mine came with the factory brake controller and there is no green plug near my fuse panel.

My 2015.5 has factory brake controller and also has the green plug with nothing connected.
