Which tuner to think about?

Not seeing much info on who to get only what octane they run.

i had a tuned ram hemi on diablosport I2 after it gave me the Christmas tree effect on my dash (had to force a calibration) it worked ever since. So i am pretty scared to tune my 16 after having a issue like that

But i am in a newer chevy and based on some reading

Lew-dialbo sport (probably go with the T1000 over intune)

Blackbear-efi haven't had efi tuning before.

Treffica- big in the cruze world, and its a pretty cool tune

Also both are a stealth tune (gm cant detect it easy) the third one maybe?

Black Bear and buy the autocal to store your factory tunes and carry a couple different octane tunes. You can do an in-person tune or data log with the autocal and Justin will email you the custom tunes. I have had 4 trucks done by Justin, 5 of my friends as well, and all of us have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. You won't find many on this forums to say otherwise either.

EFILive is the tuning software used to build the tunes. It is a true tuning software with access to many more tables than the COTS handhelds.

I've ordered the auto-cal for tuning my Yukon, I also have a Diablo tuned Sierra. Will I get better results for my Sierra? My tranny shifts could use some help still. Any issues with switching to Black Bear for the Sierra (other than the fee)?

We have had many customers make the switch for that very reason. There may be an initial headache, as diablosport can render the ECM unflashable, but the guys have a work around. EFILive has much broader tune capabilities.

EFI Live is the goto tuning software for Duramax guys and GM "LS guys" for a reason. The guys at Black Bear completely transformed my truck. I was ready to trade it in until I got tuned.

Where did you go to have Black Bear tune your truck? I live in Wisconsin too around madison and was wondering what is the closest place to have black bear tune my truck?

I went with the Autocal tune since I haven't done many big engine upgrades yet. If you want an in-person tune, Jennabear frequently posts upcoming dates and locations on here and on Facebook. They hit the Midwest from time to time.

Is there not many people using HP tuners software on here? I was originally thinking a blackbear Autocal, but will most likely be getting HP tuners for on my dodge diesel, then I'd just have buy some additional credits for my GMC, and then have a tuner tune it, because I know very little of electronically tuning a gas engine.
