I see everyone is the liners for their specific needs. Other than the grooves, what are the differences in the weatherbeater and xact fit? Looking for a crew cab that has the husky box under the rear seat. Does the liner fit up underneath the box or fold in front of it? One set is 30 bucks cheaper than the other. Just wanted you guys opinion

Xact contour is a lot softer material (it is awesome). The Husky weatherbeater is just like the weathertech it is a hard plastic feeling liner. Xact contour is a great liner IMHO. On the rear I think they make two option one stops short of the underseat storage and the other covers the entire floor. I got the one that stops short so I could remove easier and clean as needed.

Have the xact fit and am a big fan after having multiple vehicles with weathertechs. I have the shorter liner for the back with the Huskey under seat storage. The liner butts up to the storage box and looks clean.

X2 .... I bought the Husky underseat storage along with my husky Exact contour liners. Money well spent. I just hate the hard plastic feel of the weathertechs plus the weathertechs were slippery when they got wet. Just make sure you do not buy the Husky weather beaters they are the same hard plastic as the weathertech liners. Got to get the Xact contours.

Awesome job guys. That narrowed my decision. Looks like I'm getting the Xact floor mats. Does any on you have a pic of the mat against the box?

Great choice, you will be pleased with the husky Xact product. I do not mind spending money on a high quality product.

I love my Husky xact floor mats. Got them a few days after I bought my truck, carpet still looks new.

One thing I've found is that both Husky and Weathertech are hit or miss depending on the vehicle. For the Silverado platform, Husky wins. I always research the best pick when it comes time for a new vehicle.

Ok but I'm also curious as to whether or not the husky under seat storage box will work with the full rear liners. Does anyone know? Thanks

I don't see a reason it would create a problem. The way it is secured won't be impacted.

Well I decided after a little over a year to ahead and order the Husky x-act mats to replace my weathetechs in the front.

With my weathertech for drivers side- the left part of it is not flush with the pillar/footwell. It has bent inward, toward the gas/brake pedals and the e-brake gets jammed up from it.

      Can you sample the pooled liquid, enough to confirm it is oil?   ...That its not fuel or coolant.   Also, make sure combustion gases aren't entering the cooling system.   Simply put, either oil being pushed up past the rings (this really isn't possible), oil leaking past the head gasket, oil leaking past the valve, oil entering through the intake air path. If none of this is likely - it may not be oil.   What could be likely is the fuel injector leaking down. A puddle of gas would still smoke and rough idle. (Same cylinder has the same problem after injector replacement?)   What is the crank time first thing in the morning, when the puddle would be present? Does it seem like the high pressure fuel pump needs an extra second or two to rebuild the pressure that injector 8 may have let bleed off? Check the fuel pressure via a scanner prior to starting the engine.

      Good information!  I didn't know about the dementia aspect and asked for a general for my second knee. I'd heard that recovery room time is usually shorter with a general.   The anesthesiologist talked me out of it and I had the spinal.  Inconvenience and/or discomfort is a small price to pay for reduced risk!

      This is for those over 70 years of age contemplating joint replacement surgery involving general anesthesia. Even some 55 yrs. ago when I took my pharmacology class the dangers of developing dementia in the elderly that had general anesthesia were beginning to be recognized. Over the years there has been some refinement in the cautionary warnings, avoid general anesthesia if possible if you've had close to 10 priors, especially over the age of 70 and/or a family history of dementia. I'm not including the twilight anesthesia induced by propofol often used in cytoscopies or colonscopies. Seriously think about seeing a neurologist and undergo cognitive testing before proceeding if any of those criteria apply to you. Spinal anesthesia may be an option in some cases. I'm in the above camp and although I could use a new right knee, I get fidgety according to a prior orthopedic surgeon when the bone saw spools up or maybe it was the smell of saw blade meeting bone, anyhow I may have one general anesthesia left in me which I will pocket for now and I'm choosing mind over mobility, anyway where did I leave my damn cane!
