I haven't had a Base Trim or WT trim candidate yet. I'd love to work with you to determine the requirements and if it can be done.

I'd need picture of connectors, door panels etc. since you don't have power mirrors now, we'd have to explore the harness that is built into the door panel and drives the window switches, door locks. Etc. At this point, it is not known if this is possible or a "Plug and Play" solution.

I can send you picture of the door panel, which connector do you need?

I have powered Windows, just nothing about mirror. Do they make some with no option? Like mine just bigger

If your not concerned about lighting, you could upgrade to a Towing Mirror that doesn't have any lighting to it. I'd be curious to know the RPO code for mirrors that are not powered. As of now, I am only aware of DL8 (Power and heated only), DL3, DPN & DQS.

If you have a photo of your Glove Box RPO, PM me with it. If you think you want to go down the path of swapping out door harnesses, door panel harnesses, bezel to accommodate power adjust switch to gain power adjust, power fold, lighting, heated, etc., also PM me and we can go through the photos I would need to verify. If you just want bigger tow mirrors, there are tons of aftermarket mirrors out there w/out the bells/whistles.

I just wanted to give a big thanks to Phil for hooking me up with a upgraded harness for my 2014 Silverado LT. With his harness it was a simple plug and play, he provide a diode for me to Mod my puddle lights to my dome lights.78ce0bb7072b6955b8d5a0ca87ec1310.jpga2909d3e300576f5a8d9a84f2d77c4dc.jpg640351973172238cc19159abdc6b5bf9.jpg

Did my conversion over the weekend to DL3. Everything went smoothly and works flawlessly thanks to PGAMBOA. Thanks again for all the help.

From day one the seller has expressed great communication and customer satisfaction.

I ordered the DIY kit and sure it was a couple wires with terminated ends,

But the research and detailed instruction made it so much easier and faster.

Did each side in an hour with the basic garage tools.

Received the parts quickly and still waiting for the gm mirror switch to arrive from pony express.

If you have DL8 mirrors and wanting to swap over to DL3's please get in contact with

pgamboa. Hopefully he lets out a keyfob diy kit as well soon.

Thanks guys! I truly appreciate the positive feedback and kind words. I feel that feedback is especially important when someone looks at buying something, and online for that matter. I strive to make this upgrade not only possible, but simple, and as plug and play as possible. I value everyone's time, stand behind what I put out there, and provide the best possible support along the way.

This is also true even when someone doesn't buy from me and simply looking for guidance, suggestions, and/or support.

Thanks again!

On that note: I have harnesses in! I can ship with 24 Business Hours. Let me know your mirror upgrade needs! Have a great weekend!

Huge Thanks to Phil for his advice, videos, and write ups. I went the OEM route, and would recommend that if you have the choice, find Phil first.... The RZY Harness is a lot of work to install, took me about 3.5 hours from start to finish for the RZY harness alone. Would not have been able to do it without the advice, write ups, research, videos, instructions, etc... that Phil has collected for all of us. Glad there are guys out there like him that do all the initial research and share it out for all of us to read and share in.

Thank you Phil!!

Let me start by saying I have a 2015 Denali 2500HD. I had the plain black tow mirrors. Non power fold

Just blinker in glass I now have the chrome Power Fold new style with rear cargo lights and parking lamp leds.

My truck was built in August 2014. I bought it last July and have been searching how to do this ever since . Every forum there is,been to dealers - no luck or not a straight answer. Have to have truck reflashed or not , this option won't work or that one etc.. That is until I came across this forum and PHIL. Phil took the time to do the research and has it down pat. I now have the mirrors I wanted with every option working as suppose to I got his harness and after several texts to determine what else I needed I had to get the GM RZY Harness. It was a pain but PHIL is there for you every step of the way. You pretty much in most cases have to upgrade your harness anyway so why not get PHILS'S. I'll tell you why cause all this re harnessing is a pain but having Phil as a go to guy to answer any question or problem that comes up means everything. And the feeling of when your done and EVERYTHING works , well it's all worth it. No taking to dealer for re flash. All works Phil even sent diodes and detailed photos and instructions on how to make cargo lights come on in reverse. Simply put without PHil I would still be searching

And still wanting these mirrors. Thanks a bunch Phil.

I have a 2016 Silverado 2500 Crew Cab WT with DL8 mirrors. I would love to get the chrome tow mirrors with all the lights. First off, what is the p/n for the mirrors and what p/n harnesses would I need? Also, is power fold mirrors an option? I know this is a lot of questions but I've gotten different p/n's from multiple different GM sites. Very confusing...

Hey there. You've come to the right place. You would be my first WT Candidate and would love to learn more on your requirement.

1st - Are your mirrors power adjust? Just want to make sure of that.

2nd - Are you looking to self install these mirror go the dealer route?

3rd - I see you want Towing Mirrors with Turn Signal, Cargo Light and Amber running lights. And Power Fold - Right?

1. I don't have power fold.

2. I want to install myself.

3. I want the tow mirrors with the all the lights. Having the fold option would be good to have if it's possible.

I sent you a message if you want to communicate that way.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Greatly appreciate it! I know the RZY Harness IS a pain to install and glad my video and guidance helped you through it.

For anyone else looking to upgrade your mirrors to Towing Mirrors, the biggest takeaway here is this:

This IS a GM Supported Upgrade, however, I have seen SO much incorrect information from dealers being given to many members and steering them in the wrong direction. Your time is valuable. Let me help you achieve this the fastest way possible.

Since June 2016, I've been studying these harnesses very closely. I have come across 20 different harness part #s, documented every single one and their pinouts. I have a 3" binder with all my findings! LOL. I truly understand why there are many variations. I have helped over 100 members over the months in successfully making this upgrade happen.

Lastly, if my custom harnesses do not work, I offer a full refund. If you decide to purchase these harnesses elsewhere, check to ensure that you have a back out plan and refund if things don't work out the way you want them.

Thanks again guys!

Huge thanks to pgamboa not only for making the harness (which works flawlessly) but also for being so helpful. I asked a ton of questions related to mirror part numbers, install questions and even texted him while I was installing to get some quick pointers. Fantastic stuff and I would def buy again.

One question for anyone that has one this install. Have you noticed your upper mirror shake at all? Mine seems to have a small shake to it, unsure if I just don't have it torqued down enough of there is just always a small shake in the mirror. Anyone know torque specs for this thing? I don't want to torque down too hard and snap off a post.
