Yes, those should be fine.  You'll need a DIY Kit or my custom PnP harnesses though.

I'm new here on the forum and like so many others I wish I had found this thread sooner.  I would like to purchase some of your custom-made harnesses if you are still in that line.  I have a 2017 Silverado 1500.  The Service Parts ID labels calls out DL8 mirrors with no temperature sensor, my current setup.  I've purchased a set of 1A Auto Trail Ridge towing mirrors (1AMRP01792) with power fold, power adjust, heat, turn, run, and cargo lamps.  (This is the set that breaks out power fold to a separate pigtail.) I installed the passenger side mirror and have power adjust working, but none of the lighting, which you would expect with a DL8 harness. If you can help please let me know and we'll take it from there.  Thanks!

Just bought an '18 Tahoe LS and I would like to upgrade to the dl3 mirrors, add the folding switch and the auto dimming rear view mirror. 

 

I'm interested in any of the parts you supply to make this happen. Let me know what you have and how to purchase.

Thanks, I will send you a PM. Seems like the trucks and Tahoes would be the same . The mirrors and switches are the same, maybe a slight difference in the wiring.

The mirrors actually aren’t the same. The sail pieces are physically different. @pgamboa and I verified this. We also see where the wiring lands in the door connectors is different between platforms and models.

I have a 2018 sierra Sle with dl8 mirrors and bought dl3 mirrors part #s 23269799 and 23269798  and wire harnesses that came out of a 2017 Sierra ,all terrain1500  Gas ,6.2,Canadian truck.

I installed dl3 drivers mirror and harvested  5 wires from dl3 harness to my dl8 harness and installed and still have no signal or puddle light.

I did check x500 connector before hand and pins 3 and 41 are there.

Questions

1. I don't have fold unfold switch yet ....Would that make a difference?

2. I didn't disconnect power when doing swap/ adding wires....would that make a difference?

3. 

 

I am going to check power and fuses.

I don't have problems  with doing wiring  just making sure i'm doing things correctly.

Sorry forgot to add that.Also added pin 5 and tied to pin 11 for ground.
