$100k Corvette

At the dealer for service on my Silverado. Couldn't help but notice the $100,000 Corvette with $7500 brake rotors and a $1,300 gas guzzler tax. Also the paint color is named after our local race car track Watkins Glen. Some day....

That is why you buy the tesla and the vette. When the battery goes dead after 100 miles in ludicrous mode, you can jump in the vette and keep on going...

If I had $100,000 for a car I would not buy a vette either. Been there had a few and drive a pickup truck now. Still love that beast. What is the tesla top speed again?

Both factory numbers.

 

I also believe the vette will carry a higher speed for a longer distance. Don't know for sure.

thats nothing new, vettes have been over 100k for several years now. My dealer has couple Z06s that are over 100, one is $112.xxx

 

I'd definitely buy one if I had that kind of cash to blow.

Comparing this to a Tesla is silly. The Tesla is a second car, at best. It can't be driven on long trips unless you're not at all in a hurry and like stopping every 3 hours.

 

The ZO6 is a beast. Nothing can touch it at this price. Hell, the 1LE Camaros can keep up on the track with cars that cost over six figures.
