Sensor alert chime on with seat buzz

So my 2017 Silverado recently started beeping when parking and the bumper sensors are alerting proximity. Which is a bit annoying since I prefer the seat alert only. Well now the truck does both. Weird since I don't recall changing any settings. I went into the radio vehicle settings and it has two options. Either the beeping or the seat alert and the truck is set on seat alert. So i have no idea why it does both now all of a sudden. Perhaps i clicked something else?

I assume the seat buzzing feature is on the newer trucks? What year did they introduce that?

Not sure what year they introduced it but my friends 2015 sierra texas edition has the seat alert too.

Interesting. I don't think my 2015 Silverado has that and I've been through the settings pretty thoroughly.

LTZ and High Country only I think. They've had the safety alert seat since 2014.

Every so often on my 15 SILVERADO the electronics blip and I have to turn the settings off for a few minutes and put them back on to reset stuff.

Agreed there are electronic blips. I just reset my DIC pages the silly thing all on its on picked out different pages from what i originally selected. Only takes a minute to do but it does seem to indicate some type of issue and is annoying. Truck has 3000 miles and nothing has been done to it, pure stock. I blame it on the sunspots!

WT. Basic truck. Has done that stuff since day 1. Nature of cheap electronics.

Nothing yet. Turned it off and truck still does both alerts lol
